It is about getting direction from various people at once, without taking it personally or getting defensive. There are real skills involved in maintaining a voice over career. These are skills that typically not everyone is born with, regardless of how pleasant their speaking voice may be. You have to encompass the complete package to rationalize receiving your paycheck. And before you even begin your career as a full fledged voice over talent, you must first begin with voice over training and a vocal coach. This preparation is necessary for anyone determined to have a career in the voice over field. In order to succeed as a voice over worker, you should be being easy going and good to work with, not just to make the client feel at ease, but likewise to make the recording operation go smoothly and efficiently. If you have trouble pronouncing something, just rewrite the entire sentence in the margin of the script. Once you have finished this, alter the spelling of the words to something phonetic or common. If this does not help, ask the production assistant or anyone else with experience of the script. You should not feel guilty or embarrassed about asking.
